Zoo Animals

A fact you might not know!

The majority of the animals that Animals-in-Hands use in their work have either been rescued or adopted as abandoned or unwanted exotic pets.

Currently we have over 70 species of animals in our care and, with the exotic pet trade booming, part of our work in schools is to urge children (and their parents) to undertake extensive research prior purchasing any pet!

At first glance a pet may appear cheap to buy but in reality some are very expensive and extremely time consuming to maintain.

We offer free advice and support to anyone who may be looking to rehome their unwanted exotic pet and, more importantly, free advice to anyone if they are thinking purchasing one.
