Animals in Hands – Bringing the Zoo to You!
"Wow! What can I say, once again a fabulous visit, the children, staff and volunteers all very much enjoyed your visit to us today. The children gained so much new knowledge thanks to your lecture and Q&A sessions and of course they particularly enjoyed the hands on encounters with all your furry, scaly, prickly, and feathered friends. Finally I must say we all adored Dora she is a joy. We look forward to welcoming you back at PPS again in the not too distant future"
Sara Andrews - School Business Manager, Pontesbury CE Primary School, Shrewsbury
"Animals in Hands came to visit my year 4 class and it was an unforgettable experience for the children and the staff. Mo delivers the workshop in a really calm way and has a lovely manner with the children. His knowledge seems limitless, he knew the answers to all of our questions. Mo's care for each of his animals is very apparent and this comes across clearly in the workshop. Would recommend to primary schools for topic work, for a stimulus for writing or for something to hook and engage your pupils."
Tom Rowley - Assistant Head, Broomfield Primary School, Leicester
"Animals in Hands have been delivering sessions at Charnwood Museum for nearly a decade. Extremely professional, Mo always delivers fun and educational animal handling sessions to our visitors. He is always happy to theme the sessions depending on what the museum exhibitions and activities are at that time and is always willing to join in the fun! He is comfortable with visitors of all ages and gets everyone joining in during the session; nothing is too much trouble for him. Excellent value for money – we can’t recommend them enough!"
Cassandra Costelow, Manager - Charnwood Museum, Loughborough
"Animals in Hands have visited my school on two occasions and have proved to be excellent value for money, offering a very professional and wide ranging natural history lecturing service. All the children and staff were so impressed following their first visit we just had to have them back!"
Bromley Jones (Headteacher) - Randlay Primary School & Nursery, Telford
"We have had Mo and his animal friends visit our residential care home now a couple of times and we are expecting him back very shortly. Animals in Hands offer a fantastic experience, our residents have a variety of sensory impairments. Mo makes sure that each individual has great experience coming in contact with his animals. You can tell that Animals in Hands take great care of their animals. Thank you Mo, we always look forward to your visits!"
Melanie Sehdev - Brierley Lane Care Home
Animals in Hands – the Birmingham based Animal Man – has been working across the West Midlands and beyond for over 12 years, enjoying sharing his love of animals with so many people ~ children and adults alike.
During this time, Animals in Hands have visited a range of settings from nurseries, schools and colleges, museums and libraries, to care homes, cub and scouts’ groups, brownies and guides, as well as to the world of business, through attending corporate events. In short, whoever you are, wherever you are, Animals in Hands can bring a zoo lab to you in the form of an exotic zoo.
Animals in Hands ensure that, when you book Mo, you get Mo – or, as he is affectionately known by many children he has facilitated to, Mo the Zoo Keeper.
Everything that we undertake with our animals is centred, first and foremost, around animal welfare, not only when the animals are being exhibited but also when they are back at base. All facilitators are fully enhanced DBS cleared to work in schools and other such settings with children.

Can you support us?
Exotic animals are frequently purchased but sometimes owners may no longer be able to continue to look after them or they may be neglected or abandoned. Are you able to help support our work to rescue and re-home exotic pets? Click here to find out more

This is a licence awarded by the Local Authority, following inspection, to show that Animals in Hands are providing the best levels of animal welfare and care, that we are regularly inspected by the Local Authority and veterinary surgeons and are working with them to ensure high levels of health and safety, with all necessary policies, procedures, insurances and risk assessments in place.
Other licence we hold are:

Licence to Transport Animals – Licence No: UK/LEICET/00085305
One thing we would advise, before booking any animal encounter company, check that they have up to date licences and Public Liability Insurance in place, otherwise you might end up not being insured for hosting any activity undertaken by them.
